Where It All Began

From our humble beginnings in 1974 in the farming community of Hooper, UT, to where we are today serving Northern Davis County and Southern Weber County, Fowers has always focused on doing what’s best for our customers.

Don Fowers began repairing cars in some extra space in his father’s barn, and from there, built a shop in his hometown of Hooper. In 1998, I joined the team as a technician, with no idea where answering that job ad in the newspaper would take me.

While working for Fowers Tire and Auto Care, I met and married the love of my life, Angie Fowers, in 1999. That same year, we moved to our new location in Clearfield, UT.

Starting as a service writer and eventually becoming manager, I helped grow the business and promote the philosophy of people over profits. While attending Weber State University full-time, I earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation. The original plan was to move on to “greener pastures” after school—but I realized staying at Fowers was what was best for my family.

In 2017, Don Fowers officially “retired” (though he still likes to stop by to visit and see how things are going), and I took over the shop. Over the years, I’ve worked to instill one core value in everything we do here at Fowers:
